How We Got Here...

The Blooming Brand Co didn’t sprout overnight. It blossomed from years of late nights, missteps, magical wins and everything in between. Born from the roots of The Dixie Mix—an award-winning photography and marketing brand—I (Dannielle) started out as a self-employed creative, learning the ropes one photo, rogue invoice and lightbulb moment at a time.

Back then, I was a one-woman show juggling shutter clicks with spreadsheets. I knew how to take a cracking photo, but running a business? That was a whole other ball game. So, I learned. From flops to wins, —I took the scenic route to mastering what makes a business actually grow.

​

In early 2024, I swapped my tripod for a clipboard as a Business Development Officer. Where, I coached start-ups and small businesses through marketing, guided entrepreneurs on social media strategy, and even ran workshops that turned digital blindness into confident content-creation champions. That role sharpened my skills for spotting growth opportunities and avoiding budget draining blunders—skills I bring to every Blooming Brand project.

The Blooming Brand Co was born in January 2025 as the natural extension of everything I’d built—and everything I’d wished I’d had when I first flew solo. It’s more than a business; it’s a creative toolkit, a cheer leader, a sassy strategy engine for small businesses craving professional polish without emptying the piggy bank.
